Typography
As of Whisk 3.0.0, the theme added a third font options for an "accent" font. All versions of Whisk have Body and Headings font options.
Body
This font will be most of the text on your website, including paragraphs, links, button text (Whisk 2.0.0 and earlier), and badges (Whisk 2.0.0 and earlier). The default size for this text is 16px, but you can adjust that to be from 14px - 18px using the range slider setting. In section settings throughout the theme, you'll sometimes have options to make the text larger or smaller for different use cases.
Headings
This font will be used for titles throughout the site, and it is always going to be larger than the default text size. Under the "Size" setting for the heading, you can choose a size for the main heading (x-large, large, medium, small), which is the largest a heading will ever display. In section settings throughout the theme, you'll sometimes have options to make the heading text larger or smaller for different use cases.
You also have the option to make heading text all capitalized by selecting the checkbox "Make heading all caps". We recommend that you choose a smaller heading size, like medium or small, if you decide to display your headings in all caps.
Accent
(Whisk 3.0.0 and later)
The accent font will display throughout the theme in badges, breadcrumbs, vendor names, pagination, meta information, and subheadings throughout the store. True to its name, it's an "accent" and is never displayed at a very large size, so make sure you choose a font that is legible at smaller sizes. Under the "Size" setting for the accent, you can select a base size for the accent font that looks good and legible next to the base size of the body font.
You also have the option to make accent text all capitalized by selecting the checkbox "Make accent all caps".
Buttons
Choose a font style and size for buttons throughout the store.
