Privacy policy
The theme includes a snippet of code for analytics that only runs in Shopify admin within the theme editor, never on a live published version of your store. It shares with us the following public information about your store:
- Store name
- Shopify store url
- City, State/Territory, and Country of the store
- Shop id
- Number of products in your store
- Timestamp of when you first opened the theme to edit in the theme editor
We will never share this information or contact you. We do not collect any private information. This is only so we can understand better when merchants install the theme during a trial and if they end up purchasing the theme.
Feel free to remove this code if you'd like to once the theme is purchased and you have access to the theme code. Here are instructions for how to remove the code snippet.
- Before making any edits to a theme, we recommend duplicating your current live theme as a back up just in case something goes wrong.
- In the theme editor, click into "Edit code" on the theme that you'd like to remove the snippet from.
- In the "Assets" folder, find the file called "theme-editor.js".
- Scroll to the bottom of the file, and remove lines 98 - 123. Be careful not to delete the last bracket "}" at the end of the file.
